Description

This Excel will automatically calculate cable size (based on IEC) & parallel cable quantity based on load inputs from user. Also, can manually generate cable schedule and cable bill of quantity via Power Query.


Minimal Requirements:

Microsoft Excel version: Office 2021, Microsoft 365, Excel Online*, Excel Mobile *.

* Excel Online and Excel Mobile cannot generate cable schedule and bill of quantities because Power Query feature is not available.


Limitation:

- Calculation is based on 2 parameters: Load Current and Voltage Drop.

- Calculation using IEC standards and metric units.

- This document has main objectives as follows:

- Automate cable size and cable parallel quantity requirements based on load inputs.

- Generate Cable Sizing and Cable Schedule preformatted table that can be used for submission to client.

- Calculate automatically bill of quantities of cable type & length, cable gland quantity, and cable lug quantity

- Real time calculations, as user complete the inputs required, output is instantly available.

- Every cell except for column for automatic cable sizing and cable parallel quantity, can be customized.

- Additional cable data from vendor catalogue can be added freely.
